Any SkyLine or SkyBest telephone customer located in Ashe County is NOW qualified to become a SkyBest Security customer. You can call now to be added to our call list and be the first in your community to have SkyBest Security. Our security equipment communicates via our copper and fiber-optic networks, so anyone with a working SkyLine or SkyBest telephone line is eligible. Customers who also subscribe to SkyBest High-Speed Internet will receive a discount on SkyBest Security.

How do I know what equipment I'll need for my home or business?
Security Systems are not a one size fits all product. You need a custom solution to meet your individual needs. Call today and schedule a free on-site evaluation with one of our qualified security technicians. We will explain the options available and help you decide the most effective and affordable solution to secure your home or business.

Is SkyBest Security affordable?
SkyBest Security monthly monitoring rates are well-below monthly rates from national providers. Your equipment costs depend on your particular needs, so you can choose the amount of coverage that you need to feel secure in your home.

Do I have to pay for my equipment upfront?
Yes. You must purchase your SkyBest Security equipment upfront. We do offer a special package deal on the basic wireless equipment package. If you sign up for a three-year contract, your equipment costs on the basic wireless equipment package and installation are only $99. Additional equipment needed for custom solutions will be billed upfront.

What is the cost of the installation?
Installation and equipment for the basic wireless system is only $99 when you sign a three-year contract. More complex installations with additional equipment or a shorter contract term will cost more. Your security technicians will advise you upfront of all costs to effectively secure your home during your FREE onsite evaluation.

Will I be billed for this on my monthly statement?
Yes, your monthly monitoring fee will be found on your regular SkyLine/SkyBest bill. You will receive a discount on your service if you also subscribe to SkyBest High-Speed Internet. Your upfront equipment and installation fees will be billed on the first SkyLine/SkyBest monthly statement you receive after installation.

At this time, we do not offer security cameras.

Are SkyBest technicians qualified to install security systems?
SkyBest Communications is licensed by the State of North Carolina and is a member of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association. Our technicians have undergone extensive training on the installation, repair and maintenance of security systems and are registered with the State of North Carolina. As always, SkyBest technicians are local people in whom you can trust your security needs.
